Policies to help people

Leadership means listening to constituents and also raising critical issues that are not currently being discussed. Norman wants to hear about your concerns. He will also elevate the discussion of climate change in the state legislature. Since the 1980s, scientists have increasingly strong evidence that burning fossil fuels adds greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, and this has consequences throughout the world. We are experiencing increased droughts, floods, heat waves, wildfires, and sea level rise. South Dakota not only feels the consequences of these changes, but contributes to the problem. We must find ways to reduce the use of fossil fuels, increase energy efficiency, and move towards renewable energy. Our health and welfare depends on it. Please join in this effort.
